Emergency lighting is a safety measure which comes into play if there is a cut to the main power supply and normal electrical lighting fails. This situation could be due to a fire or a power cut.

Escape route signage
The obligations under the Fire Precaution and Health and Safety at Work Regulations and legislation recommend that all escape routes are clearly marked. From any given point in a building, its occupants must be able to identify their nearest safe escape route easily.
We can supply escape route signage which complies with the relevant British Standard (BS EN ISO 7010 and BS5499) and meets the recommendations of the regulations.
